Submission Guidelines:
Submissions must be DIGITALLY Submitted on one vertically oriented 24” x 36” High Quality PDF. This year WE are going to print the submission boards and accrue the cost, so you won't have to worry about dropping it off at a specified location! Thus, no models or projections from the boards are permitted, although model photographs or drawings may be mounted on boards. The jury has no preference for electronic representations or hand drawings and any media, drafting technique, letter type and size, type of paper, etc is also permitted. Submit presentation board PDF, Narrative along with the registration form found here. AIANH reserves the right to use the drawings for publication.
Narrative:
300-500 word narrative of the design concepts and considerations.
Diagrams: (all are not required but would strengthen overall concept)
Drawings:
All Drawings to scale (entrants should choose the scale and content of their board to best convey their design intent)
*Important Note* - Plans, elevations, and sections main intent should to be to communicate design ideas and concept. For example, if you have a 4 story structure, you might not need to show a detailed floor plan at every floor, but could rather communicate this idea in a different medium.
*Any additional information, drawings, or writing is permitted on the board.
All submissions should be submitted via Submittable. Click the link below and you may have to create an account. Be sure to fill out all the information required for the submission.
